The annual Mt. Tabor Church Big Picnic, Tractor Parade, and Baby Show was held on Saturday, August 12, at Mt. Tabor Park in Rocky Ridge, with lots of sunshine! A total of 32 babies—16 girls and 16 boys—participated in the show. We also had 32 tractors in the Tractor Parade! The youngest baby was two-month‐old Kinsley Davison, daughter of Jenna Fazenbaker from Chewsville, Maryland. There were no twins or triplets in this year’s Baby Show. Wesley Haines, 11-month-old son of Briana Fowler and Jonothyn Haines, traveled the farthest distance from El Paso, Texas! Babies placed in three categories: prettiest girl, cutest boy, and chubbiest baby, in five age categories, from 1 day to 24 months old.

There were only two babies in the one-day to three‐month‐old category. The prettiest girl was Kinsley Davison, two-month-old daughter of Jenna Fazenbaker from Chewsville. The cutest boy was Linden Webb, two-month‐old son of Andrea and Tom Webb from Woodsboro. There were four babies in the four- to six-month-old age category. The prettiest girl was Saylor Sterner, five-month-old daughter of Amber and Zack Sterner from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The cutest boy was Daelan McIlrath, five‐month‐old son of Patrick and Taylor McIlrath from Thurmont. The chubbiest baby was Tyler Domer, six-month-old son of Destiny and Hunter Domer from Rocky Ridge.

In the 7- to 12‐month‐old category, there were 10 babies. Charlotte Berry, 11‐month‐old daughter of Shelly and Tim Berry from Thurmont, was judged the prettiest girl. The cutest boy was Wesley Haines, 11‐month‐old son of Briana Fowler and Jonothyn Haines from El Paso, Texas. Hayden Myers, 11‐month‐old son of Laci and Steven Myers from Cascade, was named the chubbiest baby.

The 13- to 18‐month‐old category had the most registered babies, with 11. Trinity Grace Ruch, 17‐month‐old daughter of Robbie Ruch and Camelia Powell-Ruch from Emmitsburg, was judged the prettiest girl. The cutest boy was Malcolm Hahn from Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, 15‐month‐old son of Lara and Brian Hahn, Jr. The chubbiest baby was Cecilia Shorb, 15‐month‐old daughter of Aaron and Rebecca Shorb from Cascade.

In the 19- to 24‐month‐old category, there were five babies. Viella Rice, 23-month-old daughter of Heather Rice from Thurmont, was named the prettiest girl. Alexander Crawford, 20‐month‐old son of Haylee Wolfe from Fairfield, Pennsylvania, was named the cutest boy. The chubbiest baby was Josie Geiger, 23‐month‐old daughter of Chelsea and Donnie Geiger from Emmitsburg.

The annual Mount Tabor Church Big Picnic and Baby Show was held on Saturday, August 14, at Mt. Tabor Park in Rocky Ridge, after being canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19. A total of 27 babies—18 girls and 9 boys—participated in the show. The youngest baby was nine-day-old Elijah Pescatore, son of Bryan and Brittany Pescatore of Keymar. Tylee and Leighton Kolb, twin daughters of Krista Kolb, traveled the farthest distance from Leesport, Pennsylvania.  Babies placed in three categories: prettiest girl, cutest boy, and chubbiest baby, in five age categories from 1 day to 24 months old.

There were five babies in the 1-day-to-3-month-old category. The prettiest girl was Saylor Gregory, six-week-old daughter of Danielle and Collin Gregory of Rocky Ridge. The cutest boy was Declan Green, one-month-old son of Travis and Elizabeth Green of Emmitsburg. The chubbiest baby was Kora Potts, three-month-old daughter of Kortney and Robert Potts of Fairfield, Pennsylvania. There was only one baby registered in the 4-to-6-month-old category. The cutest boy was Eli Myers, five-month-old son of Steve and Heidi Myers of Emmitsburg.

Of the six babies in the 7-to-12-month-old category, Addison Staub, 10-month-old daughter of Ashlea and Justin Staub of Thurmont, was judged the prettiest girl. The cutest boy was Michael Patterson, 11-month-old son of Sandy and Michael Patterson from Sykesville. Jolene Brewster, 8-month-old daughter of Charlotte and Peter Brewster of Keymar, was named the chubbiest baby. In the 13-to-18-month-old category, there were 10 babies. June Muse, 16-month-old daughter of Reanna and Hunter Muse of Middletown, was judged the prettiest girl. The cutest boy was Jaxton Hanson of Keymar, 16-month-old son of Emily and Nick Hanson. The chubbiest baby was Grayce Stitely, 14-month-old daughter of Hannah and Cody Stitely of Thurmont.

In the 19-to-24-month-old category, there were five babies. Hailey Wagner, 19-month-old daughter of Tammy Stone and David Wagner of Hagerstown, was named the prettiest girl. Mason Robert Lee Baugher, 19-month-old son of Brandy Garner and Curtis Baugher of Frederick, was named the cutest boy. The chubbiest baby was Coleson Mortorff, 23-month-old son of Deana and George Mortorff of Abbottstown, Pennsylvania.

Madeline Petko, seventeen-month-old daughter of Josh and Jenny Petko, traveled the farthest distance from Pasadena, Maryland. There was one set of twins in this year’s Baby Show: Makenzie and Makayla Wagner, five-month-old daughters of Tammy Stone and David Wagner of Hagerstown. Babies placed in three categories: prettiest girl, cutest boy, and chubbiest baby, in five age categories, from one day old to twenty-four months old.

There were three babies in the one day to three-month-old category. The prettiest girl was Adalynn Hanson, two-month-old daughter of Nick and Emily Hanson of Keymar. The cutest boy was Emmet Platt, three-month-old son of Shayna Beard of Sabillasville. The chubbiest baby was Faithlon Mathias, two-month-old daughter of Heather and Andrew Mathias of Rocky Ridge. There were eight babies registered in the next age group. The prettiest girl in the four- to six-month-old category was Tinsley Young, four-month-old daughter of Heather and James Young of Thurmont. The cutest boy was Logan Naylor, five-month-old son of Jason and Katie Naylor of Rocky Ridge. The chubbiest baby was Ryder Fogle, five-month-old son of Christine and Bud Fogle of Thurmont.

Of the sixteen babies in the seven- to twelve-month-old category, Ava Grace Lawrence, twelve-month-old daughter of Tabitha Turvin and Sheldon Lawrence of Woodsboro, was judged the prettiest girl. The cutest boy was Fox Maker, eleven-month-old son of Emily and Nathan Maker of Orrtanna, Pennsylvania. Carson Lingg, twelve-month-old son of Emily and Danny Lingg of Thurmont, was named the chubbiest baby. In the thirteen- to eighteen-month-old category, there were ten babies. Madeline Petko, seventeen-month-old daughter of Jenny and Josh Petko of Pasadena, Maryland, was judged the prettiest girl. The cutest boy was Easton Muse of Middletown, thirteen-month-old son of Reanna and Hunter Muse. The chubbiest baby was Matthew Lutman, thirteen-month-old son of Shannon and Mat Lutman of Frederick.

In the nineteen- to twenty-four-month-old category, there were only five babies. Olivia Beard, twenty-four-month-old daughter of Nicole and Travis Beard of Keymar, was named the prettiest girl. Easton Shuff, twenty-four-month-old son of Kelsey Kerns and Sean Shuff of Thurmont, was named the cutest boy. The chubbiest baby was Molly Smith, twenty-two-month-old daughter of John and Patti Smith of Rocky Ridge.

Four-month-old Tinsley Young, daughter of Heather and James Young of Thurmont, wins prettiest girl in the four- to six-month-old category at the Baby Show at the Mount Tabor Church Big Picnic.

The annual Mount Tabor Church Big Picnic and Baby Show was held on August 8, 2015, at Mt. Tabor Park in Rocky Ridge, Maryland. A total of thirty-five babies—twenty-one girls and fourteen boys—participated in the show, judged by Connie Fisher, Bev Long, and Ellen Staub. The youngest baby was nineteen-day-old Easton Shuff, son of Kelsey and Sean Shuff of Thurmont. Jeffrey Petko, eleven-month-old son of Jenny and Josh Petko, traveled the farthest distance from Pasadena, Maryland. There was one set of twins in this year’s Baby Show: Camryn and Cooper Beachy, four-month-old twin daughters of Jordyn and Chris Beachy from Woodsboro, Maryland. Babies placed in three categories: prettiest girl, cutest boy, and chubbiest baby, in five-age categories (one day to twenty-four months old).

In the one-day to three-month-old category, the prettiest girl was Tyler Smith, two-month-old daughter of Tiffany and Brandon Smith of Emmitsburg. The cutest boy was Easton Shuff, three-week-old son of Kelsey and Sean Shuff of Thurmont. The chubbiest baby was Claire Myers, two-month-old daughter of Heidi and Steve Myers of Emmitsburg. The prettiest girl in the four- to six-month-old category was Lennon Phebus, five-month-old daughter of Blaine and Shaylynn Phebus of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. The cutest boy was Isaac Hamilton, five-month-old son of Kris and Randy Hamilton of Thurmont. The chubbiest baby was Dixie Eckenrode, five-month-old daughter of Scott Eckenrode and Ashley Baumgardner from Keymar, Maryland.

In the seven- to twelve-month-old category, Aliannah Smith, nine-month-old daughter of Deanna Smith of Thurmont, was judged the prettiest girl. The cutest boy was Patrick Morgan, eleven-month-old son of Bill and Amy Morgan of Emmitsburg. Dillon Miller, twelve-month-old son of Stacey Shriner and Ben Miller from Fairfield in Pennsylvania, was named the chubbiest baby. In the thirteen- to eighteen-month-old category, Olive Beard of Thurmont, fifteen-month-old daughter of Shayna Beard, was judged the prettiest girl. The cutest boy was Blaine Elliott of Thurmont, fifteen-month-old son of Tyler and Brandon Elliott. The chubbiest baby was Bradyn Barton, fourteen-month-old son of Cody Barton from Woodsboro, Maryland.

In the nineteen- to twenty-four-month-old category, the prettiest girl was Paisley Walker, twenty-three-month-old daughter of Ray and Yvonne Walker of Thurmont. Cason Stone, twenty-three-month-old son of Donny and Holly Stone of Hagerstown, Maryland, was named the cutest boy. The chubbiest baby was Kaylee Trenchard, twenty-month-old daughter of Danielle and Ryan Trenchard of Thurmont.
